After SMS removal

I have uninstalled sms server and removed all the client software from the workstations.

In active directory users and computers, there is still evidence of sms user accounts, namely:

SmsService
SmsServer_SGP
SmsInternalCliGrp
SmsCliToknAcct&
SmsClient_SGP
Sms&_FS1
Sms&_DEVDB1

Can I assume that the SMS uninstall will not remove these and if so, can they now be deleted safely?

Yes, these accounts need to be manually deleted from AD Users and Computers
