After restoring file, backup will not complete...

After restoring a file that we needed, the nightly backup did not complete. I came in this morning and the job was still running, but hadn't backed anything up. I had to cancel the job because the users onsite had already changed the tape for the day.

The only errors in the job log were:
The media operation was terminated by the user.
Error reading file data.
Error reading file data.

BE9.1 Rev. 4691
Running on Windows 2000 server.

I have heard that other sites in our company have the same problem. Anytime you do a restore, count on the fact that the nightly job will not complete.

Any ideas?

Upgrade to SP3

Install SP3 for backup exec.

Thanks so much...I was afraid that would be the answer...just wanted to make sure there wasn't something else I was missing!
