Advise Needed

I am able to connect from my machine to CISCO Router 2600. However, i am unbale to confrim this connection. Where and how can see that my connection to CISCO Router 2600 is correct and done.

I am using Hyper terminal to access CISCO Router 2600.

Are you having problems with the connection? Whenever you open HyperTerminal does anything show up? You'll know the connection is working if there is something up in Hyper Terminal. Pretty much, why do you need to verify...

I am looking for setting up envoirnement to access internet after passing router and getting AAA from Internet Authenticaton Service.

From my machine on request for internet surfing, i have to go CISCO to get routed to Internet Authenticaton Service (Radius server in built in Windows 2000). which will do AAA and once confirmed will route back to router. Then CISCO will route me to gate way for internet access.

Below is flow diagram for your understanding

For this i have to make sure that my machine is able to connect to Cisco router and then it is routing request to Internet Authentication Service.

Can any one advise how to get confrimation that i am able to connect to CISCO router from my machine. can i read in CISCO Router some log file or any other file.
