Sorry but my unix skills are quite low atm, but heres the problem. I need to print to a toshiba e16 printer from sco open server 5, but there is no printer driver on toshiba's web site. So im wondering if its posible to print to it with a generic driver of sorts. Any advice most appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Set it up as standard and see what problems show.

Some have the capability of emulating other manufacturer's machines, commonly HP II or epsons. It may require a setup in the printer to make the change.

I generally try to use Standard as the model when setting up new printer when a driver is not available. It is about the most generic driver you can use. you can try a couple of websites to try and find extra print drivers to install for SCO
