Morning all,
I have a customer who is opening a new office in another state (GA and FL). He does not want to have to dial a phone number to reach them. So, of course, I thought of the E and M trunks. Unfortunately, I have never worked with this option. What equipment is needed? Is the same needed on both sides? Should I use a Point to Point T-1 or a BRI circuit? Anything else I need to know? Any advice you can offer would be helpful and certainly appreciated.

Point to Point T-1 will work or you can use the new VOIP Box that was suppose to be released 9/23/03 with a VPN Router...

Both sides need to be MICS if using T-1 PtoP

The Voip box will require a VPN Network

Thanks for the response. I think we have decided to go with the T-1 since they already have the hardware (MICS) for it and it will be relatively inexpensive.
Thanks,
Gator
