Advanced Server loses cluter share on reboot

I am working with 2 Active/Passive clustered machines running 2000 Advanced server with one clustred drive shared between them. I can set-up directory shares on the cluster drive quite happily, but whenever I reboot one of the servers I loose the shared folder on that one machine. This doesn't seem like standard behaviour.

Does anyone know what is causing this and how to prevent it?
