Hi Gents

This maybe a bug, but as SUN Networker support is rubbish' I'll try you guys for help first.

I have an advanced file volume that is full, but others that are empty.

Networker was using the full volume when it became full, but instead of using one of the other volumes it is just waiting for space to become available on this volume.

I obviously want it to move on to one of the other volumes.

I'm using EBS 7.2 on a Solaris Sparc box. The clients are a mix of windows and Solaris.

The volumes are mounted and are all the same pool.

Please help!

Andy

Reading the manual (yep ... should have started here!), it seems as though the notification for adv file system full is to run nsrim and send a mail.

How do I get it to use the next empty volume instead?

Cheers

Andy

This is the expected behavior of an AFTD - it is assumed to work as a very big cache. And a cache must not be filled.

By definition NW will never assign the status 'full' to it. Consequently, NW will not even request another volume. You must make sure that there will be enough free space available.

This is different with respect to the legacy FTD.

Makes sense. Thanks for the reply.
