would someone please instruct me as to what Adv Address Line is. I receive this memory failure when testing. I have two sticks of memory in the computer and both give me the same error even if inserted into different slots.

Are these new or where these already in the system and working?

This is a Signature and not part of the answer, it appears on every reply.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

What program are you using for testing? Google doesn't display anything for this search, so it's probably an obscure message used only by that program.

Does it have help documentation?

One possibility: because of the convoluted evolution of motherboards and chipsets, it is common to have the A20 address line controlled by the keyboard controller. However, some "less compatible" motherboards are controlling the A20 line in nonstandard ways. I have only ever seen this problem on laptops.

How old is the software you're using? I don't (easily) find a reference to it on google...
