Hi, days ago we moved from dial-up to ADSL Internet access, now the new ADSL conection has new IP's address and we cann't communicate with the pc's using the old IP Address. We have a WorkGroup Network(Not Domain) with Windows 2000 Professional like the server and the others computers have WIN98 / WINXP.

We have 20 computers on the Network but only 10 computer will be connected to ADSL Internet and Network using the same NIC.

How can I connect all the computer to share data and access the ADSL Connection to Internet at the same time?

How can I define 2 Ip's on WIN98(XP support 2 IP's on the same TCP/IP Properties-I tried configured XP adding another IP and it doesn't work, if you ping to the computers each solve the ping but no work)?

Thanks in advance,

Marlon

On the Pro box, have one NIC for the LAN. Use the USB connector or second NIC for Internet access and read up on Internet Connection Sharing and NAT.

Then the clients don't need to be messed around.
