Adress book creation

I just created at new adress list in Exc. manager. under recipient -> all address lists called Disbi.

I can see it fine now in my lookout, but if i try to create an entry it says "you cannot create entries for this address book"

How do i populate this address book ?

I have given myself explisive permissions on the addressbook entri in exc. manager.

You can populate it by using the filter for the address book, in your user properties fill out some details for the user such as department etc. You can then filter the address book to contain users from these fields.

ok, but i can only filter from objects allready existing in AD.

I need to put in 200 external addresses, do i really need to put all these in as contacts in AD ?

I had hoped i could export/import these.
