I have an ADR30 drive that identifies in windows as an SC30.It doesnt work in ANY app including echo. Near as i can figure I must have upgraded the firmware and never used it afterwards to confirm its operation. In so doing I may have inadvertently put the SC30 firmware on it. The downloaded ADR30 firmware refuses to load the new firmware because it thinks its an SC30. Anyone know how I can force feed this drive the proper ADR30 firmware? I thought about doing it in DOS mode but the update program is windows based. Any suggestions before I toss it?
