I have an application that allows users to view pdf files. My problem is with the current adobe reader(v6), it takes forever to load when the first document is clicked and sucks up 35m of memory space. Is there a way to minimize the resources adobe starts with or is there a "lite" client that my users can use? I have a controled environment so I can dictate to my users what to use as a viewer.

Thanks....

twcman, unfortunately there is no "lite" verison of a PDF aplication. You can control everything, but you can't control what's on the user's end.

What I suggest is, you make the user download the PDF instead and then they can open it whenever they want, but other then that I doubt there's an alternate solution.
