Having trouble opening a PDF document in Adobe Professional (6.0.3) on a single XP Pro (SP2+) workstation. I can open the document on other workstations just fine. I've already reinstalled Adobe. I'm getting an error that reads

"Cannot extract the embedded Font JLHHJG+TimesNewRoman,Bold. Some Characters may not display or print correctly."

This is followed by a "Drawing Error" window.

Indeed, to document opens but without much of the text/drawings.

Can anyone help?

This is a Font Troubleshooter

Are you running McAfee's QuickClean lite? This has been known to cause Font problems in XP too.

All Windows text turns to Hieroglyphics ?

Thank you for the links. However, as the user needed the workstation working ASAP, I ended up re-installing Adobe a second time and this issue cleared.

Thanks again.
