when exporting mpeg movie 800mb in size i get part way through and i am then informed that the disc is full. i have 30gb available. appreciate help in this matter

take a look at your project settings to be sure that you are "exporting" to the right location.

How do you know it is 800Mb?

Are you importing an 800Mb MPG movie into Premiere, then trying to export it to something else?

Unexpected disk full messages often indicate a file system limit has been reached. 2Gb or 4Gb files are commonly the trigger in FAT32 and/or older Windows OS.

There have been some reported cases where the disk full message has been triggered by a CODEC problem - seemingly the 'correct' error drops through to the next message by mistake.
