When previewing a movie being produced, all the titles and text is nice and clean, and the fades are seamless. However after exportation of the movie, the text gets all grainy and fuzzy so that you cannot read it, then only clears up when the text is supposed to fade out. How can i maintain crystal clear text???

experiment with different codecs. I suggest a QT movie using Sor. III codec.

Then experiment with all the different parameters of each codec. and also bring your keyframing down to like 2 or 3 seconds...the best would be 1 sec. buy it is a larger file.

Its trial and error my friend!

make sure you have all the latest drivers for Directx, your export card as well as the latest premiere update eg Premiere 6 has 2 updates to fix problems

Also check to see that your not trying to export NTSC to Pal or Vice Versa (your microsoft dv exporter has a Pal or NTSC setting)

check your codec for your type of camera if its a DV then you could be using a Texas Instruement codec instead of the Microsoft codec

Update everything and the problem hight just go away
