I start having problems with adobe since I checked for upgrades and then it just wont work nowmore ?? I know that 8.0 is about to come out and wonder if there is a free version for that ??

Thanks Gio

Adobe does not like it when you do not remove the previous version before installing a newer version.

remove all verions of Acrobat then re-d/l the latest version. after you do the add/remove also clean leftover folders/files it leaves behind.

ok, but I still don't know if there is a free version for 8.0 ??

The current version of Adobe Reader is 7.0.8. I would expect 8.0 to be free as well - after it's released.

Have you made sure Adobe is your DEFAULT for .pdf files.
I have found many people tested "Foxitreader" which auto sets itself for default .pdf reader
