When I attempt to open one of my databases with ADO code in it I get the following error messsage after the database exits quickly:

"Cannot find the file ____________________
or one of its components. Make sure the path and filename are correct and that all the required libraries are available"

Has anyone else ever got this error message?
Thanks.

Survane, I think I ran into this when I originally installed MSAccess 2000 on my machine that also had Access 97.

I believed it turned out to be a reginstry inconsistency.

I needed to go in and update / delete entries in the Registry.

If I find more info, I'll let you know. I'm Your Huckleberry!

Survane, actually the error I got was very similar ; but it involved just opening access. It was not specific to ADO.

Why don't you send me some of your code?
