Hey All,

I'm trying to connect to a mdb file that has user level security using ADO. I've found a lot on how to connect to SQL Server but can seem to find anything on mdb files. My database doesn't have a shared-level security password only user-level security.

Any help would be greatly appreciate! Thanks!

Thanks Roy-Vidar!!!! This is exactly what I needed.

You were correct about the .mdw file. I needed the connection string to log onto a Access database that was protected with a workgroup file (aka user level security).

Thanks for the help! You deserve a star![2thumbsup]

Oops... I didn't mention how it helped. The first link you provided broke out each type of connection string for connecting to an access database using ADO. I just needed to identify the correct one for working with an .mdw file.

Again thanks a lot!
