hello guys,

I'm having a problem with my 2 servers. When I log in to both servers using the administrator account, i receive an error message which reads "The local settings in this system does not allow you to login interactively". Why do i receive this message if i have the administrative rights? Hope you could help me with this.

Thanks in advance.

hello anup,

i'm logging in locally and it is not a domain controller.

hi ,
Have u given the log on locally permission to the administrator group on your domain controller in the doman security policy .

hello,

yes, that permission is already given to the administrator group but still the error is still there.

i think the server is no longer a member of the domain? if that's right, is there a way where i can set the server as a member of the domain if i cannot login to the server locally? can i do it in the domain controller? or can i do it in the command promt? please help!

thanks!

i have also read from other articles, that i can restore the rights of the administrator by using the NTRIGHTS.exe. where can i get it?

guys, please help me with this....

thanks!
