admin up, line protocol flapping

Need some help everyone.

Just plugged in my nice new 3662 to replace a 1760 and everything seems ok.

However it doesn't appear to be able to connect to the far end with pings etc, but it knows the far end is there as it can see it with sh cdp n d.

On checking the line protocol seems to be flapping up and down. Was working before, so getting a bit confused.

Anyone got any ideas???
