Hi all,
My boss wants to have an admin account and password that will allow him to sign into any users computer and view/work as if it was them logged in. He does not want to sign in as the Network Administrator and have to explore through their MyDocuments Folder, and favorites folder. He wants to sit down and view their computer as if he had used their username and password to log in. He wants a user account that can mirror all users on our network.

Does anyone know how to set this up?
Thanks,
Brenda

Hi,
Not sure about that, but your boss may want to re-think his approach..

If he uses an account that is identical to the user's, how can he show,if needed, that any improper activity was not done by him instead of the actual user...

I don't understand the issue the boss has with a Network Admin account...

I think that this would make it easier for him to see what they are doing. I really don't think that this is possible and of course he doesn't like my suggestion to sign in as them......he has a copy of everyone's passwords and their user names. He has been rather upset since he discovered that the company graphic designer was designing his own web business during company hours.....and saving personal photos for his business to the company computer.

The other only option that I can think of is to do away with all passwords and security.

Sometimes it just doesn't pay to get out of bed in the mornings......

Thanks for your respond Turkbear.

i don't think that's possible; he may want to invest in a monitoring software or scriptlogic.....
