Whenever I install a certain new server to the Domain and try to log in as administrator, I get "Local policy does not allow this account to logon interactively".

Have formatted and reinstalled with same results.

This is Driving Me Crazy!!!!!!!!!!

I figured it out. For some reason (I know what you're thinking) all accounts were removed from "Log on Locally"
in Domain Security Policy/Local Policies/User Rights Assignments.

I have a kind of the same problem. My admin account called 'admin' has become locked out and the administrator account has been disabled. I have a policy set with only admin's can re-enable a locked-out user.
I could try to repair the SAM, but for some reason, i can't boot from my SCSI-Cdrom. The only way i can fix an installation is installing win98 with a boot disk on a fat partition. After the installation starting an install from windows XP from a running win98 copying all the install files to the HD and installing it over the 'old' win98 partition with converting to ntfs.
I can log on with any user, but they all have just user-rights, but i can shift-rightclick and choose the option runas...
