I have a database of buildings and their addresses. What I want to do is have a button on a form that when you click it, it asks and finds the address your searching for. BUT I want it so you dont have to type the exact address, ex a building is on 1234 palm avenue, I want someone to be able to just type "palm ave" in the search and it will find all address with palm ave in them. So that the person doesnt have to know the exact building address to search for it. Is
there any way to do this? If so could someone give me an overview of how.

Im fairly new to this and have little experience using the VB code so if you could explain it as dumbed down as possible Id appreciate it, thanks

Create a query based on your table add all the fields you will want to use in the query. Place in the criteria row in your under the address field

like "*"& [Enter Address] &"*"

when you run the query this be what you are wanting to do.

Yup thats what I was looking for. Thanks
