The Win2K server (PDC) "knows" the name of the UNIX machine that's going to join the domain. UNIX will be running Vision FS, so that Windows Explorer can see UNIX. Is there anything specific I need to do in Win2K to ensure that he UNIX machine will join the domain successfully? Workstations will be accessing a particular program whose back end runs on the UNIX box.
Thanks.
Tony.

I have never added a UNIX box to a Win2K domain, but I believe as long as the IP and subnet are good you should be fine. I dont think you have to "add" a UNIX system to a doamin. I believe it will show as long as the IP scheme is correct and the computer name is unique. James Collins
