Adding Panther client to 2003 Domain-howto?

I have added a new mac to my domain, or thought I did, problem is the client keeps disconnecting from the shares. Can someone please give a step by step to adding a panther machine to existing domain? I do have Services for Macintosh enabled, not sure what group to assign as primary, or how to set up the security levels. Sorry to sound so noob but gotta start somewhere.
