Creating a text file in VBA at the moment, and have a lot of blank fields which need adding to this file.

something along the lines of

Field1 = 40 blank spaces
Field2 = 20 blank spaces
Field3 = "Record Here"
Field4 = 5 blank spaces

Is there a way using the chr command to add 40 spaces without having to type chr(13) & Chr(13) & chr(13)

Have a look at the String function.

Hope This Helps, PH.
