adding new record to subform

i have a parent form and a child form,
on the child form i am unable to add new records when i am in the main table.

The subform is used as a contact history list but somehow i am unable to enter new records.
the subform is set to contiuous

Help me please.

Hi

Two obviuos ones to start with:

Have you checked that the .AllowAdditions property of the subform is set to true?

have you checked that the recordset on which the subform is based is updatable?
