I can add a LIM no MD110 via PCM Links, but can I add any IP device by this way? Via E1?
I want to add another device to expand my system and give IP Telephony services.

I think you are an optimist to want to add IP phones to A BC5 system. As I understand it you would need to upgrade BC12 then install a gateway card into the system with an ADSL connection to the card. A PCM link E1 or T1 has a totally diferent format.

You could add an external system and connect it to the Md110 with a TLU76 card using Q-Sig. I have two IP solutions running in this way.

Thanks a lot, that you say it's correct... I'm an optimist.

However, I'm not trying to install IP Phones directly. Right now, I'm using a SoftPBX System, based on IP, connected directly to MD110 with an ELU11 ( 8 analog extensions ) Obviosly I've used another numbering plann... but I've got IP services at the end.

What I want to know is, may I connect this SoftPBX IP System like a LIM with PCM Links, or with TLU20 via E1??
This SoftPBX supports E1 links, but is this link configurable with MD110?

Thanks again

You will not be able to add it as another LIM, but as I said before, you can connect it over an E1 interface (TLU76/1) using Q-sig.

Ok,

Please help me more, Isn't TLU76 only supported since BC10 release?? I'm working on BC5, Upgrade to BC11 it's a more expensive solution.

TLU76 have been used on BC7 systems, not sure about before that.

You could try TLU50, they support DPNSS, which is an older version of Q-Sig.

forget QSIG on BC5

Q-SIG was available on BC6 (TLU64/1) was the card used initially for this (don't know about BC5 - perhaps).

DPNSS available since UP-A 7 (BC3)or before.

E1 CAS (TL20/TL30/TL37)has been around since Adam was a cowboy.
