In outlook XP (2002) I am trying to add a new email account for a user. When I go to Tools, Accounts a dialogue box appears requesting the insertion of a floppy disk.

Has anyone run into this before? Is there a fix for it?

Thanks for your time.

Floppy disk?????? That's strange. Under certain conditions I would expect it to ask for the Outlook or Office CD. Not all options install initially - many only install when required. If this new e-mail account is for a type of service that wasn't originally installed (Exchange, for example) then you would be asked for the original installation media - usually a CD. How was Outlook (or Office) originally installed?

It was installed via Office XP CD. Apparently it has been happening since I upgraded Win 98 to Win XP. I think uninstalled Office 97 and installed Office XP.

Thanks.
