I am logged in as the administrator on my PDC. I am in the DNS Manager and trying to add a DNS entry. But for some reason, when I right click on the zone - New Host and New Record are greyed out. Any clues how to fix this?

Adding DNS Entry

This means that the server you are logged on to which is running DNS and has that zone is not the primary zone type but a secondary. If you are possitive that it is the primary for that zone, then change its type from primary to secondary. But you should see where the server is allowing zone transfers to another IPAddress which is most likely the primary zone owner of that zone.......Stiddy
