Adding Cash Drawer to NCR 7460 Aloha

Hi,

Resurrecting an old Aloha POS. 6.1.16

Total of 6 terminals 4 radiant and 2 NCR 7460 on Win 98

Radiants run fine.

Want to add 2 cash drawers to the NCR terminals. Prior they were just server terminals with no cash drawers.

Have tried plugging cash drawers into cash drawer port on terminal as well as into the S/C printers.

Can't get cash drawers to fire.

Looking for any ideas to try.

How are your printers connected to the terminal, are they serial, parallel or opos. Do you have the software set up correctly and do you have the drawer assigned. What about the cable to the drawer. It is for printer, opos or serial?

Hi Coorsman,

Printers are serial.

Didn't have Epson OPOS software. Found your other post about Epson Printers with cash drawers.

Followed the instructions and all is well.
