As I mentioned in a previous post, I am working on a project to expand the available station ports in our system. I have a plan in place that will replace the existing low density analog and digital circuit packs with high density circuit packs. This will also free up space to add additional circuit packs and offer more ports.

This all seems simple enough, however the one piece I have not thought about is any license limitations. Does the G3si have a right-to-use license from Avaya that would dictate the maximum number of ports we can have? If so, how can I show this?

Thanks, in advance, for any assitance you can provide!

You need to "display capacity" on the switch. Then page 8 or 9 you'll see Total Subscribed Ports.

IP Trunks & Stations don't count towards this count...

Thanks,
Chris

X-ported stations do count toward the Right-to-Use total.

The ports can get pretty pricey too... Don't be suprised to see prices around $180-$220 a port.

Thanks-

Lucky for me, I still have another 300 I can add before I reach the limit!
