adding a Search button

im in the process of setting (finally( a web site for my self, for photogrphy (i have many other sites under my belt) but i want to add a search button to search for photos thought many different folders, the photos getting serched will be mainly NZ speedway and i will have the images number in codes with the cars number, for example

on class is super saloons so all photos of this class will be coded ss and then the number then the date of teh photo

eg ss34t23_05_06
ss34t23_08_06
ss99m23_08_06

so when people do the search they type in ss34t and all photos of this car will appear,

Is there a way of doing this? or am i dreaming

Yes there is a way of doing this but it requires that your server supports a scripting language. Which one does it support?
