Adding a Raw Partition

Please can anyone give me some advice on how to do this. Solaris 7. What are the step by step instructions for this. A normal partition I can do.

Exactly the same as creating a normal partition, except you don't create a filesystem (newfs) on it.

My advice would be to use Soltice DiskSuite and add a concatenated stripe. Not sure what version was used for Solaris 7 but it should be on one of the additional CDs provided with the Solaris 7 install CDs. I think the package name is SUNWmd.
