Hi,

I'm new to Windows XP. Here's my problem.

I've been trying to connect to the printer. We have 4 computers connected to a hub.

At first I assumed that I needed a printer driver compatible with Windows XP. I phone Mac Warehouse and they couldn't find one. So they pointed me in the direction of the set up tools that are a part of XP. Have "successfully" added the printer (an Apple Laser Writer Select 360), without installing a driver, a few times and managed to print out some stuff, but the "connection" or something keeps getting dropped. My computer recognizes the printer (or perhaps just "remembers" that is was once connected) but shows it as offline.

I can't find any "live" help from Microsoft. Can't they offer any assistance for newly purchased products? This is brand spanking new computer and O/S.

Help!
