Can somebody tell me why I get an error when I try to load a printer on a remote workstation. Even if I put the driver local it still gives me the error: Printer driver for Windows NT 4.0 x86 could not be installed. The specified print monitor is unknown.
I do have admin rights to his PC, I have installed many before doing it this way. This printers is an HP-DJ 960c.
Any clues???
Thanks.

Try installing it locally to LPT1 (I know its over the network and not directly connected). Then change the location to the correct share.

Sometimes u have to trick HP.
