Before I start this question has me and my norstar tech baffled so I will pass the answer on the him. We have a T1 with 12 lines. We purchased an additional 6 lines on the digtal phone they all work, but on the analog phone they lost the ability to call out. The tech added the lines to the pool and they worked. Incoming call start at 001000, outgoing call start at 01800. My guess is this has something to do with the restriction on phones. Local and long distance is restirced on the digital phone, a user must enter feature 68 then a code I put restrictions on the code to not allow dialiing LD without 1, and restrition 1900, and allow 911 etc.. The analog phones have are split into two sets of restrictions. 1st is a restrion code programmed on the phone that allows only local calls, the second is restriction allowing local and Ld with a 1. Please doen't hesitate to provide a technical answer I will pass this on the the tech. To recap the digital phone can grab the 18th line and call out but the analog phones after pressing 9 for and outside line lets you dial the number but no busy signal or ring, but analog phone recieve calls OK.
