I have two servers (DBSERVER and TERMSERVER). DBSERVER is my doman controller for mycompany.local. I have a users account (byrne1 as domain administrator) on DBSERVER and I'm trying to add this account to the Remote Desktop Users group on TERMSERVER.

When I go to add the user, I click on "Locations..." and it only shows TERMSERVER and will not allow me to add the byrne1 user. TERMSERVER is a member of the mycompany.local domain.

What am I doing wrong???

Not sure why you are not getting the domain list, but you can manually type it:

domainName\username

and it should locate the id.

oops I expected that to bold the command. Ignore the html in the above post.

I tried that and it still does not work.

Sounds like your server has a bad connection to the domain. Remove it from the domain, delete the machine object in AD Users and Computers and re-add it and it should work.
