Add/Remove Programs listing 1

This is a new Windows 2000 SP4 machine that we received from another office. I am trying to uninstall several toolbars, games etc... When I open add/remove programs at the very top it states that "There are no programs installed on this computer" But you can scroll down and see the programs. So I followed this link and it did not help:

Then I go down to the list and I can not remove or change any of the programs, they are all greyed out. So I followed this link and I didn't have the Uninstall portion so I created it and still no good:

I am logged on with the only local admin account for this machine. Someone has played with the registry and did something. Any help would be cool.

I would recommend you to reformat the machine and set it up as you need in your office. Usually trying to remove stuff etc never gets the machine back to the speed it can operate with. Also you spend all that time cleaning the machine for it to keep crashing on the new user that you will have to wipe it any way so save the hassle of trying to clean and fresh install.

This way you know the unit has the correct drivers and everything is upto date and that there is nothing on the machine that you havent put there for a reason.

Someone else came and got the machine and they are going to reformat it. Thanks for the advice.
