I am trying to do scans of the workstations.
I am able to check which applications are installed remotely by checking the uninstall registry keys. However, this shows everything.
I want to be able to show only what is shown like when you go to add/remove programs. my main problem is that the PCs with Visio installed show every component of Visio. Where, if you go to add/remove programs, it only shows Visio as being installed.
In the information for the applications installed, that is shown in Add/Remove Programs kept in a different registry area?
Is there any way to query a workstation to get the Add/Remove Programs list only???

If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

You can connect to machine's registry (using regedit or regedt32) and then check HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\.

Thank you but I have done that already. Doing this shows all entries for Visio.
I only want to see the entries that appear in the Add/Remove Programs window.
