Is it possible to add an extension from a remote site to a local Hunt Group? I have a call center that would like to create a Hunt Group that would be used exclusively for times of extremely high call volume and pass the call to a Hunt Group that has users from remote sites. Maybe a Hunt Group is not possible and if so is there another method to achieve this? Possibly something in 3.2?

With v4 it will be, but the current 3.2 doesn't allow it yet.

Hope this helps (even though its not what you want to hear).

you can put the remote phone on the ip office at the other location
only one but,it must be a scn connected with vpn

forward unconditional...only works for linear or circular though...

I have 2 IPO connected with ip trunk [3 channel] i hunt group on IPO1 with 1 user with forward on busy and no answer to number of hunt group on IPO2. And work good. I create short code on IPO1 for this fw.

IPO 1

fw to 8[ext of hunt group on IPO 2]
shortcode on IPO 1

Short Code: 8[ext of hunt group on IPO 2]
Telephone Number: ext of hunt group on IPO 2
Line Group ID: Number of trunk betwen IPOs
Feature: Dial

And I don't have problems.
