Add new 2970 to a Cluster Command Switch 2950

I have a cluster of 4 switches 2950, one of them is the Cluster Command Switch.
I have bought a new 2970 and I would like to add to the cluster but I encountered some errors.
After seeing some technical Notes, CISCO notes than the Cluster Command Switch has to be the new 2970.

Is there any option to give directly control and configuration of the cluster to 2970 without configuring again all the VLANS, spanning tree ,... ??
Any idea?
