I am trying to use RAS for a secondary admin to work on a DB. The NT user RAS works fine, user can login to server. However, user can not acces SQL server 7 via manager or query analizer. The user is in the logins, have tried NT authentication only and sql authentication for user. What am I missing?
AKL

Whats the problem are you getting a time out on login or a login error (password). How fast is the error comming back
?
Cal

Available for weddings, funerals and childrens parties.

the remote user is loged into the NT server via RAS and useing the Query analizer is attempting to "connect" to the SQL server and recives a login error "can not connect", when done localy from the server, this connection is established with no error.
TIA
Allan
