Hi there,
I have 3 servers, all DC in W2k Domain running AD.

If I make changes to AD Users and Computers on SERVER1 and SERVER2, SERVER3 is never updated however if I make changes on SERVER3 both SERVER2 and SERVER1 are updated fast.

Any idea why ? and maybe how to fix ?

rgds,
LArs

Are all of these servers in the same site?

Under AD Sites and services: Does Server 1 have a connection to servers 2 and 3. If they are not at the same location are they connected with a WAN?

Ill have to check under sites and services but they are in same site stadning right next to eachother in the same network, its only 46 users on same location.
should I be seeing something in the event log when AD replicates information you think ? and are there somewhere you can change the replication.

The server not receiving the update is an exchange server.

thx

Check your event logs on Server 1 and see is it is having problems with its replication. If it is you should see several errors in the log. Server 1 is a AD DC isn't it? Not a member server.

yes all of them are DC im not sure what to look for in the log but I´ll have a look.
thanks

Check the following log files.

File replication Services
Directory services
System Log

On server 1 run cmd to get a command prompt and type Netshare. Look to see if the "sysvol" is shared

Use "dcdiag" utility on each server to check for GC and replication.
