Hi, I need help installing AD. I have a NT PDC, NT BDC and a NT dhcp/dns on one machine. What would be the most feasible way of going ahead with this? If i upgrade the pdc to win2k and then dcpromo, will I need build a new dns server? What is the easist way to achieve AD on this setup?
Thanks.

well your best bet is to bring a new bdc online
sync it with the pdc. make the bdc a pdc... take the old pdc off-line. upgrade to w2k and then will will promp u to install dns if your current dns is not at sp5 I think. This is the easiest way. I say drop the dns and let w2k install one.
