AD Group hierarchies - nested??

Is it possible to nest Security/Distribtion groups in AD.
Some may be Mail-enabled for Exchange 2003.

We are currently in Mixed-mode, and are limited to a Universal Group containing a set of Global groups.

If we go to Native-mode, what can we do?
Ideally, we'll have a central hierarchy of groups which reflect the organisational structure.
This'll ensure the massmailing groups contain everyone and will be efficient.

Will a multi-level nested hierarchy work?

Only nested groups 2 layers deep and that works OK. Not sure about 4 levels as per your diagram but I guess it should be OK.
