AD Broken - Can't get in Mangt. Console.

We had a major problem with our AD. The GC dumped and corrupted the AD mirror. Active Directory is done for, we're rebuilding.

The problem comes in when I attempt to get into the managment console. Basically without AD I can't even open up the Managment Console, because I don't have any ID's with rights.

Is there any way to recover this installation, or is strictly a rebuild scenario?

Can you get in with the local administrator account? I usually creat a back door to get in.

Good luck with your problems though.

Just a thought, maybe instead of a rebuild you could change farms??? That may allow you to re-create the admin accounts?? Not sure, just a thought.

I can get into the machine, but it doesn't look like the local administrator has any rights in Citrix. Who would have ever though that Active directory would be totally unrecoverable.

Guess it's time to start rebuilding. Oy.
