I've migrated our exchange server to 2007 and have one remaining problem. I am not able to get our 2 Pocket PC devices working with Exchange 2007. The users mailbox is sitting on the 2007 server, they can do everything else just fine except user their Pocket PC's. The Pocket PC's try to sync up but get an error code of 0x8600050B which isn't anywhere on google or microsofts site.

I don't know what would cause this as everything else in our org is working fine with the new server including our unsupported blackberry server... Does anyone have any advice or any good articles to follow for ActiveSync?

haha, thanks. I'm actually the miller2348 on that forum :)

Stupid question probably, but have you created a new security cert with the new version and copied that over to your phones?

Every problem I've ever had with activesync and mobile phones always comes back to the security certificate.

That's just what I'd do, or at least where I'd start. Copy the root cert from your Exchange server to your phone and install it.

The certs were installed on the phones a while back. The problem was that I had to delete the partnerships on the devices with exchange and recreate them. Sounds simple but not intuitive right away.

A while back? Well, you could always try removing whatever certs are on the phones, and then reinstall a new one from your Exchange server. Wouldn't hurt to try.
