At our site we currently have a non-active directory 2000 network.

I wish to implement RIS which I have done on a seperate subnet, RIS obviously needs active directory.

The RIS server is the domain controller for a new domain.

If I were to introduce the RIS server to the 'Live' network along with the current 2000 servers would this introduce any problems?

As the old and new domains are seperate I assume I'll have no problems, but just to be sure I'd like to check first.

Any guidance?

As an additional note...

I'm currently running DNS on the old and new domains, I wish to use the old DNS to support the new domain and remove DNS from the new domain controller, is this feasible?
