Hi!
If you configure some user and computer settings in AD will the all the computer settings run on the client computer even if he logon localy?

hi,

If a user login in Computer joined in AD Domain locally,
(Domain ThisComputer)
the Domain user policy are not applied
(as if he log-in by a domain-user that does not stay
under a OU with policy)

Instead, the computer policy are applied.

Computer policy will be applied if the computer is joine to the domain.
Also, when Win2k is starting, machine policy is applied,. and then you are asked for log on.
